Unscheduled interuption

In addition to the various other things I've been trying out lately - when I find the time between work and applying for jobs in Central New York - I've also been working on collages.

These aren't part of a larger series, at least not yet, although both of them suggest a story that I haven't been told.

Yet.

Really nice! Is this store-bought paper, or have you also started making your own paper designs (...only a matter of time, methinks...) ?

All the paper is store-bought (for now - I'll get around to making my own paper eventually...), but there's a big difference between the dog (preprinted paper bought at large hobby-supply store) and the boat (bought at art supply shop). The latter has a much nicer feel to it, and you can really tell the difference in person. I'll keep at it, between my screen printing and block printing, watercolors and acrylics... and I even have some cartoon ideas I need to draw!

These are beautiful! I think you should work on a children's book with collages like these for the illustrations. And hurry up because I have a friend who is due in November...hehehe....
