Strings?


Does this cartoon need an explanation? This was drawn before I had read Ted's book, but it seems to summarize the problem pretty well.

Yes, it does require comment apparently. The last, littlest Miro can be seen as representing Ted, complaining about determinism of various sorts.
Ted himself might complain that this is precisely the sort of "promethean determinism" that he criticizes, but again, I think "Oy." summarizes it well.
